WAN speed is about 10% of total bandwidth

Hi Guys,
I've been having constant issues with the PFsense since i bought it (few months ago).
On the first ISP i have tried the PfSense i had a contract for 300Mbps Down and 100Mbps Up. I had the cable modem set in bridge mode and used the PfSense as Router/Firewall, however behind the PFsense i never managed to get even 100Mbps. I suspected there is a negotiation (duplex/speed) issue between Pfsense and the cable-modem so i added a switch in between the cable modem and the Pfsense and things did NOT improve. I have tried few times to flip the options "Disable hardware checksum offload" and "Disable hardware TCP segmentation offload" on and off and i did not see any improvement. I thought to myself that the issue might be the cable-modem so i learned to leave with the problem.Few days ago i decided to switch the provider this time i decided to use DSL with a 100Mbps up and 20Mbps down speed.
So i have plugged in an Drytek Vigor 130 in the DSL line, the Gig port from Vigor130 into Pfsense, i have put the modem into bridge mode, configured PPPoE on the Pfsense. As soon as i did a speed test i got super disappointed when i have seen just 12Mbps Upload and 1Mbps Download. I started again to flip the options "Disable hardware checksum offload" and "Disable hardware TCP segmentation offload" on and off
So now i am not sure what to do.The speed tests in both scenarios above were done from the Pfsense box itself using a shell speedtest-cli script. And to make sure i've done those tests from the web browser of my laptop also with same results.
Here are some details for the Pfsense i got:
Netgate SG-2440
2.3.4-RELEASE-p1
I have disabled all the features except NAT and few firewall policies that are allowing traffic to get to internet. But i do not think this is a NAT issue since the problem (low speed) could be seen from Pfsense box itself.I know there were few topics about the same in the past but they seem to got sorted by flipping those offload features i mentioned above which for me did not seem to do the trick.
Any help/suggestion would be highly appreciated.
[Edit] Forgot to mention :
-If i stick my laptop straight into the provider's modems (on either ISPs) i am getting the right speed for the contracts i have with both ISPs.
-I have tried different ports on the PFsesnse for the WAN connections -
maybe a wiring issue when using the cable modem.
might be an mtu issue when using the new DSLalso don't flip random options that you find …. thats a pointless waste of time
advise:
reset to factory defaults, leave everything as default except the PPPoE bit, then try changing(lowering) the MTU to the correct valuewhen you can't figure it out, you might have some commercial support if you bought a sg-2440.

Even if you disagree. Those options actually make sense to try
advise:

Anyway thanks a lot for giving a thought to my issue and for the advice.
