I'm using squid proxy with splice all, and a lot of the time, when watching netflix, when i try to change episodes I get an error saying i've got a network problem, this is only error i can find related to the connection problem:

TAG_NONE/409 3954 CONNECT api-global.netflix.com:443 - HIER_NONE/- text/html

I've looked into the error code here and it's apparently some sort of conflict, but I have no idea how to resolve this issue.

I've also read this but the computers are already using the firewall as their DNS server (DNS resolver).

Get rid of squid altogether or exempt your Netflix devices so they can go around it. Unless you're using it as the base for squidguard URL filtering, it's almost useless these days since the dynamic web is very difficult to cache and often causes problems.

Hi am having exact same problem and can not work it out.
some times the google.com just drops with 409
5 min later is working ok.

My client DNS is also same as the pfsense IP address

any help?
i have 3 pfsense and all of them same issue so i can not use squid
