      hello,

      pfsense ver 2.3.4
      pfblockerng-2.1.2_2
      squid 0.4.42_1

i want to do blocking on both squid and pfblockerng but somehow when they are both enabled, pfbl doesnt work. we can see the added rules under lan that were added by pfblocker but they just dont work.

resolution- disable squid and pfblocker will work.

any ideas where might i have gone wrong?

      Thanks

I have almost the same configuration, but in my setup all three are working beautifully excepting one stubborn domain that I cannot seem to be able to block (steepto.com).

Take a look at this thread: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=142077.0

One suggestion, install squidguard too and they may behave…
