Not to offer save usernames/passwords
-
Hey Everyone,
Is it possible to tell the browsers not to offer save usernames/passwords when we login.
Thanks

Pretty sure that is the default⦠Do you have this checked or not checked? Under System Advanced..
Enable webConfigurator login autocomplete
When this is checked, login credentials for the webConfigurator may be saved by the browser. While convenient, some security standards require this to be disabled. Check this box to enable autocomplete on the login form so that browsers will prompt to save credentials (NOTE: Some browsers do not respect this option).

Some time ago browsers decided that web developers shouldn't be allowed to tell users they can't save password fields. Even when it's in the best interest of user security.
We set the correct properties, but browsers don't care anymore. If you don't want it to be remembered, disable password autofill in your browser.
