    Hello, Everyone, I am new to this forum and as per title I want help from forum members. I have Infinix Note 3 Pro and want to configure openvpn on my smartphone. I was wondering on google and found some article when I try to configure it no error pop-up but vpn doesn't work I don't know what silly mistake I was done or is there any issue in steps? So can you check it: https://www.reviewsdir.com/how-to-setup-openvpn-on-android/ or is there any other guide?

    Thanks in Advance.

      Use openvpn-client-export package to export configuration ("Android" type) on pfSense.
      Install this client on your Android device and import configuration your exported earlier.

        That, exactly. Don't use the OpenVPN Connect app, use that one. It's vastly superior.

          I have always used OpenVPN Connect without issue, happy to try another app - But what makes it superior?

          11 cheers for binary

            Open source, gives a LOT more detail about the connection with graphing.

              Openvpn Connect App has just been nicely updated with graphs.
              Worth another look?

              11 cheers for binary

                Fixed my problem Thanks! I made some security update's today to my vpn, as it has been ruining the same way for 3 or 4 years. After the OpenVpn app stooped working after I update it! I uninstall the app, the vpn certs, setting, vpn & package. I spent all day tiring different setting, Watching YouTube video's to steal other's setting!

                It was this simple Use a different app. My brain hurts after today. All the googling I did with that stupid error, Stupid android app.
                The Error I had was, Failed to parse profile: crypto_alg AES-256-CFB1: not found. It did not matter what Crypto I used I tried many.

                @jimp THANKS DUDE!.!
