I set up aliases and a firewall rule to permit IPv6 multicasting, as Doktornotor described in this thread: https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=87580.0, which is working well.

However, I still have a lot of mDNS traffic on port 5353.  Should this port be added to the Discovery_Ports, or not?

If you do not want to log this 5353 traffic then create a rule to either allow it or block it without log.  Pfsense is not out of the box going to be listening on 5353 so its kind of pointless to allow traffic to something that is not there.

Ok - thanks.  I'll just allow it along with the other multicast traffic.
