We followed this guide to the T, https://blog.briantruscott.com/how-to-serve-multiple-domains-from-a-single-public-ip-using-haproxy-on-pfsense/

Apart from the second back end as we only need one at the moment, and using our IP address and Domain.

when we then try to access the site it gives us a connection refused error, as opposed to a timeout error that occurs on https (which i havent yet set up).

We were using a standalone nginx reverse proxy but we couldn't get the firewall to work with https on it so we decided to try HAProxy. We are very new to firewalls and aren't sure what to do. We cant seem to find any guides online that we could get to work.

Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you share your haproxy.conf from the bottom of the settings tab? (please wrap inside code # tags using the buttons above the message text..)

        Also please checkout: https://github.com/PiBa-NL/pfsense-haproxy-package-doc/wiki/haproxy_troubleshooting
