Basic walk though

Greetings everyone,
I'm new to pfsense.. but I got my router set up on a quad-core Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1900 @ 1.99GHz with 4 ports. Works just fine.
I'm setting up VPN client for my OpenVPN at CyberGhost. I got the system to work, and it gives my whole router the VPN IP so far. this I understand.
But, I would like to route this to an open ethernet port on my pfsense box.. or perhaps both un-used ethernet plugs. So here's what I'm thinking.
Scenario number 1 - Route the VPN just to the Eithermet port where that port has the VPN address.
or
Scenario number 2 - Put in a VLAN address, and create a VLAN VPN, whis way I can route this over to any port in my network I want.
Whats the best proctise here?
Can you walk me though how to set up an interface for routing either idea?
Also.. While the VPN is routed to a spacific address, can you still log into that device locally?
Thanks everyone!

If you want all ethernet ports to have the VPN then it should do that by default.
