I'm configuring many CP instances and I'd like to show custom login pages to users depending on the AP they come from, had some of you done something similar in the past? any advise or guide to accomplish this task?

Completely up to which layer 2 they land on and the capabilities of your access points.

If there was a way for the APs to pass something that your portal code could recognize, then your portal code could display something different, I suppose.

If they are on different layer 2 networks, then you can use the same portal code from them all and I'm sure there would be something the CP code could key on - IP address range if nothing else.

But it is something you will have to write/pay to have written.

Maybe you should describe what you are trying to do instead of asking such a specific question. There might be a better solution.

          OK, you're right.

I intend to provide to different customers a CP solution where they will only need to change their router's DNS to a CatchAll DNS that return the PFSense IP Address and configure each CP's login page to their needs. So I think I'll need a different CP for each customer and a way to identify their router for showing the right CP.

I think you should read up on the CP manuals…. It doesn't work like you think it does.
