      Hi,

I'm running a pFSense 2.4.2_1  installation and last week when I logged in to Web GUI it had totally changed appearance. The menus are no longer horizontal on top, instead they are vertical and a "Toggle navigation" button is visible. I have no clue what triggered this change, and I'm not able to get back to the normal appearance.

I've tried to reinstall the base pfSense packages but it didn't resolve the problem.

Is there any way to reinstall or reset the Web GUI files and/or config (other than reinstalling pfSense completely)?

        Hi,

Goto Status => System Logs => Settings and check "Log errors from the web server process" to see if the web server isn't signaling missing files.

No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
Edit : and where are the logs ??

Go to System > General setup and select pfsense theme. Does it show show any other themes?

Try selecting pfSense or pfSense dark and hit save. Also clear your browser cache and history.

Hi, switching themes and deleting the browser cache and history solved the problem! I'm sure I tried that before, but not after I reinstalled the pfSense packages…

                Thanks for the help!
