I for the life of me can't seem to wrap my head around this…I've read my help docs and watched youtube videos on this and still can't get it to work.
My son is up too late at nights...sometimes gaming and university work.
I want the internet on his devices to disconnect from the internet at 2 AM and not connect back until 9 AM 7 days per week.
Please see the attachment below and let me know if I have the correct settings.
      I'm using Pfsense 2.4.2-RELEASE-p1
      Thanks! :(

Thx that help somewhat but the time that I input is what I'm having issues with.
Is that time in the screenshot allowed time or time when internet is blocked?

            From the pfSense Book:

Scheduled rules will act as though they do not exist when the scheduled time is not active.

Thx for your help…my lack of knowledge is not from reading or research as you seem to think.
I've had Pfsense for sometime and have done many other complicated things and even help friends.
This is the one thing I just can't seem to get working.
Well thx again I'll look elsewhere.
              ;D

I have no knowledge or opinion of your reading/research.  All I am trying to do is help you with my limited knowledge, and I cite my sources.  I usually have to play with it to remember how it works – do you explicitly allow and then block on schedule, or do you block all but allow on schedule?  Also, you must reset your states after making changes to your firewall rules since new rules will not block existing states.

Somebody need to write a friendly parental control front-end package to hide all the complexity.
