I have pfsense set up and blocking sites but when browsing to a blocked site like google drive I get redirected to the IP Address of pfsense which gives me a Invalid certificate.

I have set dns so "pfsense.domain" will take me to pfsense which allows me to have the secure certificate. I have changed the address from within the squid.conf file to point to "https://pfsense.domain/sgerror.php?" but this then get's reset back to the IP address and the invalid certificate comes back.

Is there a way to have pfsense to always point to its dns name rather than IP address?

      Thanks!
