Acme 0.2.6 gives strange status icon, but works
-
I just converted my pfsense ssl key to a lets-encrypt key with wildcards for all my domains. There are 16 of them and when I press issue renew I get the result in the image below.
There is no log / key displayed but the key is signed and works great. Is this the result of a timeout in the web-interface or a bug in the latest acme package.-Ivar

Probably either a timeout or something else in your browser/javascript.
The script will be running in the background and the GUI tries to follow along with the output, but if it can't do that for some reason, it will act how you describe.

If this happens when it's time to renew the key (the automatic renew the acme package does on it own) will acme restart the webui or will I have to do this manually?

That depends on what you told the package to do in the certificate settings. Read the help text and examples in the Actions List section when editing a certificate.

Looks like upgrading to 0.2.7 fixed the timeout. It works flawlessly now.
