How to isolate a computer from the Internet by applying firewall rules?

  • Hello
I want to isolate the Ethernet network card of a computer from the Internet access, by forcing the user to connect by wifi, to no longer activate the Wi-Fi mobile hotspot on the computer
on my network, there are machines connected by cable, including a television and 3 computers
I want to keep the cable connected and apply the rule on the firewall
    Thank you

Create a rule above the default any any rule that blocks access to any..  Use as source the IP address of the devices you want to block.  If there are multiple devices you can use an alias, or create individual rules.

Make sure the device always has that IP by either setting it static on the device or creating a reservation for its mac address in the dhcp server.

    HUH?

The above says is here nor there.  Do you want the user Internet access through WIFI or not?

  • I want to allow Wi-Fi to connect to the Internet and prevent ethernet card

  • Then John's solution will work.
