Firstly, I'm a total noob at routing let alone pfSense.  I have internet service through a local wisp where I am behind a double NAT.  My goal is to direct select traffic out through the VPN service that I have and also to allow inbound connections through select ports.  I have been able to get the first requirement working.  I have a few PCs going out through the VPN while others do not.

    I followed this guide:
    https://www.techhelpguides.com/2017/06/12/ultimate-pfsense-openvpn-guide/

However, I've been searching and trying different things all day to get inbound traffic to route.  I have an open port 3389 on the dedicated IP that my VPN provider gave me.  I have tested that I can gain access into my network with a Tomato router.  I have not been able to get inbound 3389 traffic to route to my internal server's 3389 port.

I would really appreciate any help.  I've exhausted my google skills I think…

    Thanks

You will want to put the port forward on the OpenVPN assigned interface.

You will want to be sure the rules on the OpenVPN interface group tab DO NOT match the port forwarded traffic. In fact, if this is your only OpvnVPN client, just delete/disable all rules on the OpenVPN tab.
