Discovered today that the number four (4) next to the NIC (OnFreeBSD: em(4),igb(4),ixgbe(4), lem(4), re(4).) is the chapter or section in the manual when referred here: https://www.unix.com/man-page/freebsd/4/netmap/  as well as here:  https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?query=netmap&sektion=4

So, both the dual and quad ports NIC is natively supported in FreeBSD 11.1

    pfSense+ 23.09 Lenovo Thinkcentre M93P SFF Quadcore i7 dual Raid-ZFS 128GB-SSD 32GB-RAM PCI-Intel i350-t4 NIC, -Intel QAT 8950.
    pfSense+ 23.09 VM-Proxmox, Dell Precision Xeon-W2155 Nvme 500GB-ZFS 128GB-RAM PCIe-Intel i350-t4, Intel QAT-8950, P-cloud.
