I've converted over my lists to aliases some time ago using the trick where you rename the description such that I could control the order of the rules.

Now I'm restoring the pfsense config to another build and my aliases are not being copied over which results tons of "Unresolvable source alias" errors.

If I simply try to restore the aliases from the backup config file, the aliases appear there until the next time I touch any pfBlockerNG setting, after which they disappear again?

What's going on here? I'm simply trying to restore my build.

I see this in the log " /rc.update_urltables: Could not process empty file from alias: /var/db/aliastables/pfB_DNSBLIP.txt.tmp"
