      I recently wanted to use '' Download quantity and download traffic ''
      limit the amount of traffic of each user in 1200 Mb per day
      But when i fill the box '' Quantity of download and download of traffic '' by the number volus: 1200
      this user account no longer works, while all other accounts are working properly
      Things are fine when I delete the number of traffic in the box.
      in pictures all the manipulations I made;
      I added a cronjobe << 0 0 * * * root / bin / rm / var / log / radacct / datacounter / day / used-bytes - * >>
      thank you for help

        Hi,

        Your first image mentions that you set up your captive portal (as a radius client) so it send accounting info to the radius server.
        On the Radius server setup, tab Interfaces, did you setup a listening interface type "Accounting" - port 1813 ?
        Like (see image).

        Btw : I'm using MySQL (MariadDB to be exact) myself, so I can check tables and the sqltrace.log. This shows me that radius is receiving the accounting info and updates.
        To see what happens, stop the radius seveice in the pfSense GUI.
        Then using the console access, access SSH and launch radiusd manually in debug mode :

        radiusd -X

        Now you can see what happens, and check.

        edit : check also this one :

        tail -f  /var/log/radacct/192.168.2.1/detail-20180419

        where "192.168.2.1" is your NAS IP - and 20180419 the date

            @fmohcine26:

            I can not find the tab Accounting interim interval.

            On the Users tab, last line.

            Interfaces :
            You have a setup for port 1812 (authentication - address : *") and port 1813 (accounting - make that also address *") ?
