When i delete an authentication to the captive portal by mac address along with freeradius the captive portal page won't launch for the client for me to login. if i enter the captive portal page manually and login it gives me a socket error. I never had this issue before upgrading to 2.4.3 i was at 2.4.2_p1.

Can someone tell me how to resolve this issue. Thanks.

I think, we've got the same problem. I'm also using the 2.4.3. The worst thing is if you connect another client and use the same credential the other client that you removed will also be able to access the internet, I hope someone can able help us on this issue.

Standard answer is, "When it's ready."

There should be a patch there you might be able to apply using the system patches package in the meantime.

                The patch : moving a line : https://redmine.pfsense.org/projects/pfsense/repository/revisions/29a272f7361689c87dd7ad9fc1c903e843a1c593/diff/src/etc/inc/captiveportal.inc
                Not rocket science.
Some text-editing skills are needed though.
