PfSense does not connect with ip from lan using VirtualBox

For those who want to start learning pfsense and to use VirtualBox and have this problem that I had myself, here's the tip:
After searching through various forums I solved this problem with the following setting. I placed the second network card in the "Host-only Network Card" mode and placed a fixed ip (with the gateway pointing to the PfSense lan ip) on the "VirtualBox Host-Only Network" that VirtualBox creates in the Notebook or Computer, that way I was able to communicate with the ip of the lan. ;D
