How to Quote in New Forum Posts?

I might be blind, but I don't see a button for putting quote tags around chunks of text in the new forum software. I see one for code, but not for quote. Am I missing something?

Just put a ">" in front of the line andhere's your quote
Simple as that.
Or just hit the "quote" button below my reply and see in the editor how it's done...

@jahonix Thanks. That's easy enough. And, it looks like the ">" symbol applies until the next paragraph mark (two ENTERS?). For instance, the text below is preceded by a single ">" at the start.

Ut enim ad minim veniam, quis nostrud exercitation ullamco laboris nisi ut aliquip ex ea commodo consequat. Excepteur sint occaecat cupidatat non proident, sunt in culpa qui officia deserunt mollit anim id est laborum.

Select the text you want to quote and click the Quote button.

That's good for posts within a thread. But, I was wondering about pasting in a block of text from somewhere else and then formatting it as a quote. I'm pretty sure in the old forum software, we either:- chose the "quote" button in the formatting options and pasted the text in the resulting spot,
- pasted the text in, highlighted it, and hit that same "quote" formatting button,
- or, typed in a [quote] [/quote] pair around the text.
