      Hi,

I have a printer on my lan: 192.168.1.25. I would like it to be accessible on the Vlan - 172.16.1.X

My firewall rules on the Vlan are:

      States X
      Protocol IPV4
      Source *
      Port *
      Destination Lan net
      Port *
      Gateway *
      Queue NONE
      Schedule
      Description BLOCK ALL LAN

How can I allow the Vlan to print on 192.168.1.25 without exposing anything else on the Lan (192.168.1.x)?

      Thanks,
      Rich

What printing protocol are you using? All that port above your block to the printers IP. Or if your unsure just allow any to that IP above your block rule.

Does the printer have a gateway set - many times printers get overlooked if setting static IP of not setting gateway.

Rules are evaluated top down as traffic enters the interface from the network its connected to, first rule to trigger wins, no other rules are evaluated. Post up your vlan rules and we can discuss if you want.
