Flushing squid cache to disk?

    I have a transparent proxy set up with Squid and I have the local cache configured (which I think is set up correctly), but my disk usage is not increasing, so I'm wondering if it's still holding everything in RAM (the server in question has 16GB of RAM). Is it possible to flush it to disk?
