Let's say I created a new pfsense box using a 1GB vmdk file.  During the live CD install, I created a single / partition and no swap partition.  Now after adding a couple packages, I'm getting closer to reaching the limit of the partition size.  If I grow the vmdk to 2GB, I will still have to expand this on the FreeBSD side after the system is rebooted.

Anyone know how to accomplish this?  I'm not familiar enough with FreeBSD to do this.  I understand that I need to use fdisk to expand the slide, then growfs.  However, I've not found any real good step-by-step out there for this.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

    Thanks.

I put this one out on the FreeBSD forum that I am on.  I have not gotten close to running out of disk space but it would be nice to know how to do it.
