Need Help Setting Up Wireless

I am a newbie to pjSense. I have successfully setup my pfSense for ethernet but am having trouble setting up wireless. I have no idea what I am doing at this point. I've got it to connect to my network but not internet. Can you help?
Hardware:
Intel DH61WW motherboard & Intel i5-2400 CPU @ 3.1 GHz - 8 GB RAM - 250 GB HDD
Broadcom NetXtreme II 1 GB Dual-Port Server Network Adapter with TOE Support
Atheros AR9380 802.11abgn 2.4 Hz wireless card
pfSense version: 2.4.3-RELEASE-p1 (AMD64)Thanks in advance for all help. Since I am a newbie, please can you give step-by-step instructions?

Step 1: Buy an external AP.
Step 2: Connect the AP to your switch.
Step 3: Configure the AP to your liking.And just forget about using any wireless cards with pfSense.

I have an AR9380 based card and it works OK. It's probably the best card you can get for pfSense/FreeBSD but that isn't saying much. It can do a theoretical link speed of 450Mbps. I've seen it link at >400Mbps and it can pass >200Mbps in a large packet test, with one client.

I would suggest you reconsider the configuration of your setup with pfSense, by following this guide:
