2.1.4_10 on pfSense 2.4.4 - pfBlockerNG Alerts Error

Clicking on the pfBlockerNG widget header to view Alerts I get the following PHP error:

9:13:09 PHP ERROR: Type: 1, File: /usr/local/www/pfblockerng/pfblockerng_alerts.php, Line: 78, Message: Uncaught Error: Cannot create references to/from string offsets in /usr/local/www/pfblockerng/pfblockerng_alerts.php:78 Stack trace: #0 {main}

I tried reinstalling the package, with no change. I can't say for sure that it was working in prior to upgrading to 2.4.4.

Looks like I was missing a configuration value:

I went through each tab in pfBlockerNG settings and hit Save. The Alerts tab now works as expected.

I have a fix for this which is waiting for the devs to approve/merge:
https://github.com/pfsense/FreeBSD-ports/pull/571

However, this should not be an issue in pfBlockerNG-devel.
