I don't have AutoConfigBackup installed, never had but I got this warning after upgrading to lastest snapshot using http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD7/RELENG_1_2/pfSense-Full-Update-1.2.3-20090219-2152.tgz :

Feb 21 00:30:03 php: : New alert found: Either the username, password or encryption password is not set for Automatic Configuration Backup. Please correct this in Diagnostics -> AutoConfigBackup -> Settings.

Go to System -> Packages, does it show as being installed?

No, the installed packages list shows empty like it should since I have no packages installed.

Edit: I might have had AutoConfigBackup installed at some point, where can I check for leftovers from uninstalled packages?

The same happened to me on two separate updates to that specific snapshot and i never had the AutoConfigBackup package installed. i just acknowledged it and it went away.

I can confirm this as well. Updated from 1.2.1-rc? to 1.2.3-PRERELEASE-TESTING-VERSION built on Thu Feb 19 21:52:48 EST 2009.

The package was not installed before the upgrade, nor was it present in the installed packages list after.
