I installed 2.4.4 and removed Squid Proxy and all Squid* related packages.
However I still see Squid Proxy Reports under Status.

How to get rid of it ?

      Thx

        What about :
        Saving the config.
Now open this config file in a nice editor program like Notepad++ en nuke all "quid Proxy and all Squid*".
        Import.

Or : before upgrading, de de-install "quid Proxy and all Squid*"

Or : After upgrading : do a full install of "quid Proxy and all Squid*" (without setting it up) and the de-install.

Edit : and where are the logs ??

I looked at /conf/config.xml and there are tons of left overs from squid* !?

Feels like a bug to me.
Is there a more generic way to clean up pfSense from garbage in config ?

... and then the remove (de install).

Well ... when using "quid Proxy and all Squid*"" you're asking for it ^^ It's a huge packet.
The generic way of cleaning is :
Clean install and setup everything be hand - remember : simple == fast to reproduce == easy == clean.
Or : clean out config.xml by hand (very easy also, although you need to know what to do and what not to do - keep backups)
