I am trying out new Avahi package.
It won't pickup chromecast on my windows box (but shows up on android) until I restart Avahi service just once after a reboot/upgrade.
Only way I can get it to work is by restarting Avahi service.
But it works just fine after one restart.
I did create firewall rules to allow inter-vlan communication.
Old avahi package worked with this firewall rule.

hmm I think I figured it out
For some reason it thinks vlan100's ip address is 10.10.10.1 (pfblockerng) and not 10.10.100.1

Joining mDNS multicast group on interface igb2.100.IPv4 with address 10.10.10.1

edit: removing pfblockerng fixed the issue.
