Hi. New pfsense user here. I am used to more basic hardware e.g. Draytek, where I can create a Remote Dial in user with a name and a password for establishing a L2TP VPN. Pfsense is going to be a whole new learning curve for me so for the interim can someone outline a basic setup that I can use for creating a VPN without having to create certificates etc until I can get my head around how to create a more secure VPN.

      Thanks
      Chris

You can go with Static Key if you don't want to use Certificates.
Using Certificates in pfSense with OpenVPN is no big deal tho, there are tons of tutorials around.
