I am running 2.4.4 stable and pfBlockerNG seems to be blocking some sites, specifically this one lol (forum.netgate.com). I've added forum.netgate.com to the DNSBL whitelist but I still cannot reach. Any ideas?

How do I find out in pfsense where it’s being blocked?

So hover the mouse over the "+" icon you will get option to suppress the IP or network in question.

I’ve done that (clicked on the + and added to suppression) but I still cannot access.

So you have to check the alerts tabs again to see what blocks it.

What version of pfsense and pfblocker are you using?

From your post above... You manually added those IPs to be blocked to the custom list in the Badguys Alias...

I didn’t setup this pfblockerNG a friend did for me and we’re no longer in contact. When I hover over the alias I can see the list of ip’s and it’s in there. But the url in the alias is https://127.0.0.1:443/pfblockerng/pfblockerng.php?pfb=pfB_Badguys

So how would I edit that list to remove the ip?

I was able to track down the specific list that was blocking and just replace with a different list. I am now successfully able to reach this forum on my network!!! Thanks for the help!!

after troubleshooting, for me its different problem.
i can ping forum.netgate.com successfully, but cant access through chrome browser. no block alerts, nothing... but if i disable pfblocker i can access in browser.
so i tried Firefox, and i can access without disabling pfblocker.

So pfblocker + chrome site gets blocked even when domain and IP is not blacklisted and it is not logged on alert page.

Chrome has a page to diagnose DNS issues: Chrome DNS Diag page

If its blocked via DNSBL it will show the DNSBL VIP address for the domains.
