Yes we know - ask a specific question.. Have given you links to the book and the docs.. Its a simple firewall rule to allow ping to your wan IP. Its simple clickity clickity to forward a port..

What exactly more help do you want? If you need someone to hold your hand then contact support and pay for such service..

Such threads are very frustrating in that you say you teach computers yet can not read documentation for the most basic concepts.. Post up a picture of your rules that you set to allow ping to your IP.. And show that it actually got a public IP, etc. etc..

Maybe you would have better luck in your native language section? I am not sure what else do you need - what part of the port forwarding instructions do you not understand. What part of how to create a firewall rule to allow ping do you not understand..

You stated you got your PPPoE connection up and running - so clients behind pfsense can access the internet right... And when they go to whats my IP . org they get back the IP you think is your static IP, etc..

I do not charge anything because I do this for FUN... ;) Sometimes way more than other times - threads like this just give me a headache and to be honest from some your statements weep for the future generations education ;)

I have given you all the info you should need, if you have specific questions than ask specific questions with specific details.. Post up pictures of the settings you have don that you feel are not working, etc.

pfsense new learning. I'm not training this job. network is a different area of expertise. I'll just use the workshop for internet security. I'm sorry if you had a headache. A person cannot know everything. Tomorrow I'il send you the pictures.

I suggest you the docs and book tonight as well..

While I agree nobody can know everything... You would think a teacher would know how to do their own research for basic concepts... And someone in CS would have basic understanding of firewall rules and port forwarding..

Not asking you to script the firewall changes in python or something.. Its a simple gui, are you having problems with the English interface.. I don't think it has been translated to Turkish... Maybe that is something you could help with once you get your issues sorted.

That is not 2.4.4 - so why would you say your running 2.4.4 when clearly from the screen shots your on like really OLD version.. maybe 2.0 or 2.1? I don't recall exactly but its not even 2.3.x

NO you have ZERO reason to be touching floating tab rules!!!

First thing you need to do is actually install current 2.4.4 version of pfsense!!

I looked up the name on the pic and while the livingdead fqdn doesn't resolve the www.ka..... does to an IP in TR.. So maybe its turkish troll, or maybe legit.. But where would he have possible got such an OLD version??

NO it is NOT... Sorry but I have been using pfsense since it came out.. And that picture is OLD interface...

Post up YOUR screen showing version..

So they have rules on wan setting ANY ANY inbound tcp/udp and outbound pass TCP -- WHAT utter nonsense sort of rules are those??? You would NEVER set any any on wan interface.. Not if you actual want any sort of firewall.

Here is my wan showing allow ping to my wan address.. And the firewall rule that auto gets added to allow for a port forward I did to serve up ntp to ntp pool

@johnpoz Unfortunately, it does not work. I'm using pfsense 2.4.4. pppoe connection. pfsense wan interface takes static public ip and dns. I can't go to the internet.

Dude if your not going to post up your actual settings - nobody can help you.

What you posted is NOT 2.4.4 nor are those rules even logical that you posted..

Post up your PPPoE settings and how you have them assigned to your interfaces.. And your outbound nat - did you mess with it?
