pfsense 2.4.4 auf apu2c4 / Firmware

Hallo und Guten Abend,
ich bin vor kurzem von pfsense 2.3.4 auf 2.4.4 gegangen. Als Hardware nutze ich eine apu2c4 mit msata. Das Upgrade wurde per Neuinstallation durchgeführt und hat auch ohne Fehler geklappt. Nun wollte ich noch die Firmware des apu Boards aktualisieren nur leider bootet die apu mit der Version apu2_v4.0.21nicht mehr. Sobald ich wieder auf die alte Version apu2_v4.0.18 downgrade funktioniert wieder alles wie gewohnt. Kann jemand das Problem bestätigen? Bzw. hat jemand von euch auf einem apu2c4 die aktuelle pfsense mit der 4.0.21er Firmware?

Kann schon Entwarnung geben. Habe nochmal die Firmware von 4.0.18 auf 4.0.21 aktualisiert, Firmwareupdate ist wieder ohne Fehler durchgelaufen. Und nun die Überraschung, nach dem Booten fuhr die pfsense wieder brav hoch. Also scheint die Kombination apu2c4 mit 4.0.21 und pfsense 2.4.4 zu laufen. Wenn gewünscht, kann ich in 4-8 Wochen nochmal eine Rückmeldung geben ob´s auch so bleibt.

Edit: Nachtrag, leider zu früh gefreut. Nach einem Reboot bleibt die pfsense wieder hängen:

Habe bei mir die 4.0.20 drauf und alles startet soweit wie gewohnt!
Was ist eigentlich der Unterschied von Mainline releases zu der Legacy releases?
Mir wurde die legacy empfohlen und bis jetzt kann ich nix negatives sagen!
