      Hi!

I'm having trouble configuring a multi purpose instance per the link:

      https://netgate.com/docs/pfsense/vpn/openvpn/configuring-a-single-multi-purpose-openvpn-instance.html

The client is not grabbing an IP within the appropriate subnet, and I'm not entirely sure about how to go about firewall rules, if I need to create an interface assignment for the server instance, and so on.

It would really help if someone shared screenshots of all the relevant bits! Firewall rules, interface assignment, server config, client override.

      Thank you!

How about you share your screen shots, describe what is happening, and we can tell you what to change.

DO NOT set a source address/port in a port forward or firewall rule unless you KNOW you need it!
