No livestreams when using DNS through OpenVPN with NordVPN

Hi,
Having an issue accessing live streams (both video and music) when using DNS via OpenVPN connection from NordVPN.
All traffic is routed through the OpenVPN interface. Apart from not being able to access live streams, I do not experience any other issues. Can access sites and can download just fine.
I am using pfSense 2.4.4-p1. Have not set any filters on ip or port.
I have setup two DNS servers in general setup, both from NordVPN. Using the DNS resolver. The Outgoing Network Interfaces setting is set to use the NORDVPN interface. In this scenario, live stream is not working. As soon as i change the Outgoing Network Interfaces setting to use the WAN interface (direct connect to provider) or just set a dns server on the pc locally I'm using, then I can access live streams.
Any idea what could be causing this?

have you run a speed-test to see if its fast enough to handle streaming?
what are you send and receive buffers set too

NordNet might use some personalized shaping ;)
Like my VPN : before, torrents, emule, any other P2P : it was just great.
These days : after several seconds the connections comes to a complete halt.Any other type of traffic over WAN direct, or my VPN : perfect.

The speed is ok. Somehow the issue is solved. Well, for most of the livestreams. Still having issues with my TV provider. But think that done for protection purposes. They do not allow streaming via VPN.
Having another issue now, and that is that the bandwidth of my VPN connection is reduced in time. Whenever I disconnect and reconnect, the bandwidth is ok for a short while. Like half an hour or so. But then goes down....

Thanks for the reply. If that is the case with me, will have to investigate. Like changing VPN provider for a while. Just to check.

Nordvpn is the worst provider i have tried.
and i have tried about 5-6 of the vpn services
i suggest run away quickly
i feel i can say this with confidence as i use the SAME exact settings with another provider and i get full speeds and no buffering 99% of the time
