      Hi

Will build a PC for the pfsense and want to buy a network card with 4 ports. Today I have two physical network cards.
One card I use for WAN. The second card I uses fore LAN. And on the LAN card, I can create multiple VLANs.
      So, I don't need 3 other ports
So my question is the following:
What is the purpose of buying a network card with multiple ports. On almost every forum they recommend to me Use VLANs

Link aggregation, to increase available bandwidth. You might also want physically separate networks.

PfSense running on Qotom mini PC
i5 CPU, 4 GB memory, 32 GB SSD & 4 Intel Gb Ethernet ports.
        UniFi AC-Lite access point

        I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...
