      Hi all,

I have IoT devices I have put on a separate VLAN which I want to access with my phone. My phone is running through an OpenVPN gateway and when my phone is routed straight to WAN I can access and ping devices on that separate VLAN but not when my phone is running through the VPN gateway. I'm presuming this is solved by Firewall rules, but whatever I try it doesn't seem to make much difference.

The devices are either on a Unifi AP or a Unifi Switch which has the appropriate SSID/ports tagged.

      Any help would be appreciated.

      Thank you.

What do you mean by routed straight to WAN? You mean a port forward?

WIth VPN you need to set firewall rules from VPN client --> IP/Subnet on VLAN and vica versa.

Everything depends on your setup. Would need more details. Post a network map. Are your VLANs terminated on PFsense or your switch?

          Post your server1.conf

What are the IP's in the VLAN you're trying to access?

What do the rules look like on your LAN and OpenVPN tab?
