dnsbl PHP reset every minute

    Hi community,

    I'm not a pc/networking specialist (self thought enthusiast at best).

    I keep getting the following error in my general logs. (every minute on the minute)

    Mar 6 15:25:00 php-cgi servicewatchdog_cron.php: Service Watchdog detected service dnsbl stopped. Restarting dnsbl (pfBlockerNG DNSBL Web Server)
    Mar 6 15:24:00 php-cgi servicewatchdog_cron.php: Service Watchdog detected service dnsbl stopped. Restarting dnsbl (pfBlockerNG DNSBL Web Server)
    Mar 6 15:23:00 php-cgi servicewatchdog_cron.php: Service Watchdog detected service dnsbl stopped. Restarting dnsbl (pfBlockerNG DNSBL Web Server)
    Mar 6 15:22:00 php-cgi servicewatchdog_cron.php: Service Watchdog detected service dnsbl stopped. Restarting dnsbl (pfBlockerNG DNSBL Web Server)

      Why do you use Service_Watchdog to monitor DNSBL ? There is no need for that.

        Are you sure I did that ?

        Not to argue because I definitely don't know what i'm doing but I think PfBlokker did this all by itself (add the watchdog) I can not recall doing this.

        So I turned it off, but just out of curiosity why do I keep getting this message, Isn't this PHP server supposed to run all the time ?

            I do because this little pfsense box sometimes gets overwhelmed and then snort crashes, so this will kick it back online, also it will email me when services are down

              I am having this same Errors. Did you ever get yours fixed? @Ronpfs Just Because you do not use some thing, Does not means he should not ? THATS pretty backwards thinking!
