I do know how to use google :)
Then read the supported devices section in the altq manual page, it's not that hard.

@Grimson
Well it should'nt be that hard to press a link and read the few lines that explains what i am asking about either -
@bobbenheim That was a problem from two years ago.

@KOM
Well since ALTQ is still disabled for 10 Gb interfaces in 2.5.0 and a new version of FreeBSD is used, i was just wondering if the drivers were still a mess in that regard :) -
I see. Thank you for clearing up what you were looking for. I'm not lucky enough to have 10G NICs or backbone, so I wasn't sure what you meant.

Read it yourself again, the problem in that thread was already resolved with the build from 2017-03-31. [Your friendly mods at work].

@Grimson yeah it was resolved by disabling ALTQ again, so guess i'm feeling quite slim?

Grab a 2.5 snapshot and give it a test run meanwhile to pass the time.

As far as I know altq is still disabled for ix in 2.5. I don't believe it has been tested though to see if the stability issues it introduced have been resolved in FreeBSD 12. It is something we could look into for 2.5. It's become more of a problem since the 1G interfaces used by C3K are now using the ix driver.
