    Hey,

First time user here. So, I have been on this for days and have restored defaults like 100 times. How do I setup OpenVPN for a WAN with DHCP type ? I am trying to setup a firewall and VPN to access my home network, where my IP is dynamic. My setup is
ISP router (which won't let me access admin page) ->PfSense Firewall-> Switch -> My devices.

Steps to do so or links can be really helpful. Thank you in advance.

So you have a public IP address or private RFC1918 on your pfSense WAN?

Am guessing its Public IP. My ip has prefix 27.

        Thank you again.

          Check http://whatismyip.host
If the IP address shown there is the same like on your pfSense WAN you'll be fine.
You can then walk through the OpenVPN RAS wizard, it will automatically create the according Firewall Rules for you.
To keep track of your dynamic IP you can use any DynDNS provider: https://docs.netgate.com/pfsense/en/latest/dns/dynamic-dns.html
          Personally I can recommend https://freedns.afraid.org

            Hey Rico,

            Thank you for getting back.
My Wan is the one provided by the ISP router (192.168.1.78) and is different from my public IP.
I have also tried the steps as mentioned in
            https://www.ceos3c.com/pfsense/configure-openvpn-for-pfsense-2-3-step-by-step/

Apologies, i know my struggle is too noob for you.

Figured it out. Had to call up ISP for port forwarding.

              Thanks for your help
