Need dead simple Android/iOS connectivity

We are testing an SG-1100 as a OpenVPN client server but we need something with dead simple setup for end users. On the desktop side, the client export utility works wonders but for mobile devices, we need some help. We are using LDAP for user auth and have OpenVPN setup and user/password only. We also disable the TLS key option. When using the OpenVPN Connect app and trying to "Connect to VPN Server" we cannot connect. When I download the .ovpn profile, it works beautifully. This is not however practical for our deployments.

Any insight will be greatly appreciated.

P.S. We are fully aware of the security implications with this type of configuration. Locations that require PCI/HIPAA will be setup with certs.
