On 2.4.4-p3 with FRR 0.5.1_1 when saving an MD5 password longer than 8 characters I get an error message saying the password must be 8 char or less.

Found this was changed in https://redmine.pfsense.org/issues/8662, but was this intended to get both cleartext and MD5 passwords?
Unless I'm misunderstanding MD5 password should be up to 16 char.

That should only affect cleartext passwords. I added a note to the issue and reset the status.
