I have a friend who has a comcast business account and a comcast supplied router. I want to setup pfsense with OpenVPN after the router for him to access a freenas server. How would I set this up?

If it is not possible to put the comcast router in bridge mode, just setup OpenVPN on pfSense as you normally would.
Disable Block private networks and loopback addresses for the pfSense WAN Interface and forward the OpenVPN port from comcast router to pfSense.

@Rico So if I can do the bridge mode, can I get away with just 1 eth port on the pfsense box? And can I still use the lan ports on the comcast router?

So you want so use pfSense just as OpenVPN server behind the comcast and nothing else? That would be a waste. ;-)
And you have to mess around with manual adding routes to the comcast and so on.
Why not use pfSense as full Firewall/Router?
