pfSense OpenVPN site-to-site client dies every day or two.

We have one of our remote offices with a new Netgate SG-3100, and our downtown office with an older Netgate whatever 1u Super Micro C2758 they called it.
About once a day or maybe every other day, the remote office's OpenVPN client process dies. This SEEMS to happen in the afternoon.
You can't restart the client process from the web interface. So far, we've needed to reboot the whole pfSense SG-3100 to make the client run again.
It doesn't seem to be tied to load or resource exhaustion, we've hammered it pretty good with data throughput tests and the client doesn't die.
When the OpenVPN client process is dead, the rest of the SG-3100 still works fine. You can still access the web interface.
The logs don't give a lot of clues.
Has anyone seen this before?
We have several offices using this same setup, but on older models and a variety of older pf versions, and haven't had this problem before.
