How do you block ip ranges in the web config, all i see are subnet, network, etc… I need to block group of ips say 192.168.0.100 - 200 to block using the internet.  ???

Create an alias containing the IPs/subnets/ranges you want to block and use this alias in the rule.

Per default pfSense blocks everything, so it would make sense to have an alias to allow people and not to block.

Hi GruensFroeschli, thanks for the fast reply.. Can you elaborate on this more?  If i created an alias i will use this alias for the rule, the rule will be pass not block? so others will be block by default but not the ones in the aliases? Am i correct?

Yes. For the passrule you can just modify the already existing passrule on the LAN tab.
