pfSense Port Development Guide for Linux developer

I'm a Linux guy. I recently bought SG-3100 which runs on ARMv7 CPU. I wanted to patch Barnyard2 port which record the alerts from snort port. It took me some time to figure all this out.

Here I shared my notes on how to setup FreeBSD development env and cross compile from AMD64 for ARM by poudriere. Hope other Linux folks can speed it up the patching process.
