      Hello,

saving any change on my firewall takes ages. From the log, it is clear that the auto config backup (set to run for every change) is the reason, because its "beginning backup"/"end of backup" log entries are always exactly 30 seconds apart (except sometimes 31).

An example is below (I removed the process name "php-fpm" and the PIDs to save space). Note that the synchronization to the standby firewall takes two seconds, and then 27 more pass before the backup is reported complete.

Aug 26 14:18:11	/rc.update_alias_url_data: End of configuration backup to https://acb.netgate.com/save (success).
      Aug 26 14:17:44	/rc.filter_synchronize: XMLRPC reload data success with https://172.30.254.250:443/xmlrpc.php (pfsense.restore_config_section).
Aug 26 14:17:43	/rc.filter_synchronize: Beginning XMLRPC sync data to https://172.30.254.250:443/xmlrpc.php.
      Aug 26 14:17:43	/rc.filter_synchronize: XMLRPC versioncheck: 19.1 -- 19.1
      Aug 26 14:17:43	/rc.filter_synchronize: XMLRPC reload data success with https://172.30.254.250:443/xmlrpc.php (pfsense.host_firmware_version).
Aug 26 14:17:42	/rc.filter_synchronize: Beginning XMLRPC sync data to https://172.30.254.250:443/xmlrpc.php.
      Aug 26 14:17:41	/rc.update_alias_url_data: Beginning configuration backup to .https://acb.netgate.com/save

What is going on, and how can I avoid it?

      Thank you
