@KOM Maybe throw a traceroute to forum.netgate.com? Maybe a backbone issue.

I've had just about enough of you and your helpful, logical suggestions!

normally fast from italy but my ntp server running on he.net have lost some points
-
They are still having problems between he.net Chicago and Level-3 Dallas.
-
I know it's not going to help, but... forum is stupid fast for me today. I'm in Chicago suburbs, on AT&T 100/100 fiber internet.

Im at home and yeah its screaming.. Just disable your ipv6 until its fixed would be the simple solution ;)
Im in chicago, and also serve up ntp to the pool over HE and no issues on mine.
-
It's fine from home. I don't route through he.net at all from here.
-
I have he.net at home for my ipv6, since my current/new isp doesn't have any ipv6 support.. Which I am fine with - I only play with it. Its not in anyway a production need at this point in time.. And to be honest, prob not going to be for many many years.. Until some major player, or multiples of them.. Goes IPv6 only - but that would take some major cahones ;)

Progress has been made.
There are still some problems in Russia, China and all Africa.
I could I stop my pfBlockNG and go 'pure IPv6' ? ;) -
No I mean when a major player is ONLY Ipv6.. So you HAVE to have ipv6 to get to say facebook.com or google..
Lets say amazon had to be ipv6 to get too.. Not that they you can on ipv6, but you can also on ipv4 - so you have no actual need for ipv6 currently...
Name one service that you can not get to via IPv4 that you need to... Not some darkweb fetish p0rn site that is only ipv6 because they too cheap to pay for the ipv4 address.
-
I meant the other way around : me (mail server) being IPv6 only, thus my MX's are IPv6 : I wouldn't receive any spam mails 'from them' any more.
-
Nor any legit mail either ;)
-
Yeah, remove the cable from the modem and you will see that you are not receiving any spam
