I'm currently learning the art of using pfsense as a firewall, and I have come across a problem with the webgui, uless it's something I'm not doing correctly.

When I try to add a rule, I can add the to/from subnets but when I specify the ports I am only limited to opening for all ports, a range of ports (eg. 1024-1050) or single ports (eg. 80).

Is there a way that you can open a rule to multiple ports (eg. 80, 443, 23)?

      Thanks
      ???

Yes, Create an ports alias at firewall>aliases for the desired ports. Then use this alias in your firewallrule. All inputfields with red background can be used with aliases.
