    Squid in 2019/2020 still usefull ?

      Hello All

      15 Years ago we had a Leased Double ISDN Line with 128kbps Symmetric....
      At this time i read about Squid and i thought that it would a good idea.

      So i setup Squid (non Transparent) and the Result was - lets say not very satisfying - so after a couple of Month i decided to end the tests an switcht squid off...

      Nowdays we have 3 VDSL Lines with 100mbit/each - and i think about Squid again - but is this realy a good idea ?

        Squid is mostly useless except as a base for squidguard URL filtering.
